Woke up to the snow falling outside, got all our
equipment and made our way to the slopes. First fall of the day, Mr.
Goodman's comical slip on our way to the gondola. Our best fall of the
day goes to Liam Burgoyne, who skied off the piste and ended up being
covered in snow up to his neck! The instructors have generally been
good, but all the girls are preferring "Gorgeous" George. Ellis' ski instructor has changed his name to "Bob" as she can't pronounce Ellis.
Ski
lessons continued throughout the afternoon, concluding with a 7km ski
journey down to the bottom of the mountain. This evening we are
relaxing in the hotel's swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Some of the
ladies have had the "Happy Feet" spa treatment, and some of the boys
jumped into the jacuzzi. During Mrs. Jeffery's spa experience, she decided to walk into the male changing room and was greeted by someone who was showering.
Yes... Our first day was very tiring.
Off to bed now, we've got our year 11 students on hand to check that everyone's in place. Our ski instructors said that they were impressed with our first day's work.

Hi to you all. Just wanted to say thank you for my daily 'life line'.... and can you tell 'Bob' we're missing him, it's rather quiet around here without him.
